Schedule:

On-site Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our accounting operations across multiple entities. The successful candidate will manage the financial stewardship of the organizations, encompassing end-of-month closings, reconciliations, and the overall financial health of our entities.This position will oversee day-to-day accounting activities and personnel, work closely with our founder and leadership team, and work closely with our Accounting Manager and a team of Staff Accountants to plan, organize, and direct all daily accounting functions.The ideal candidate has integrity, possesses excellent communication skills, and will bring value to our companies through their overall common sense and ability to think strategically.

We are looking for personable, easily approachable, and detail-oriented candidates.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Direct oversight, management, and support of accounting department and personnel.
  • Oversees all accounting operations for multiple entities.
  • Processes bimonthly payroll for multiple entities.
  • Leads and supervises the Accounting Manager, ensuring effective management of AR, AP, & Payroll.
  • Develops and implements consistent accounting policies, practices, & procedures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Collaborates with leadership team on the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Prepares accurate and timely financial reports, including consolidated reporting and cost allocations.
  • Coordinates annual insurance renewal activities across multiple entities and properties.
  • Manages and leads budgeting and forecasting processes, including quarterly reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, & accounting standards.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • 5+ years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Business Central, and Microsoft Office Suite.
