Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using modern React (utilizing functional components, hooks, contexts, etc.) and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams to understand user needs and translate them into dynamic and engaging interfaces.
- Author clear documentation for developed features, ensuring other developers and stakeholders understand system nuances.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize front-end systems.
- Engage in rigorous testing of applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration of APIs and other backend functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in React and front-end development best practices.
- Play a role in improving our codebase through code reviews and by suggesting newer, efficient practices.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- 2-3+ years of experienced in modern (ES6+) JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in React development.
- Demonstrable experience with React, particularly with functional components, hooks, and contexts.
- Experience with React testing libraries (Examples: Jest, react-testing-library, cypress, playwright)
- Solid communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Practical experience in test-driven development.
