Summary:
This position is for a field technician who will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, evaluations, and repairs of commercial and critical HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Electrical experience is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical service, including but not limited to: equipment start-up, commissioning, installation, preventative maintenance and emergency service for commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment related to comfort cooling, hospitals, computer rooms and other critical environments. Perform preventative maintenance inspections, evaluations, standard and emergency service calls on HVAC and refrigeration equipment including commercial building, computer rooms, and telecom sites.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Seven to ten years or more related experience and or training in the HVAC, refrigeration and/or electrical field.Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC system experience is a must and critical environment and data center experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.Experience with Acumatica (internal ERP system) is a plus. Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends to meet customer requirements.
Willingness to travel on an as needed basis. Must have, or be able to acquire a U.S. passport, and to qualify for access to U.S. government installations and U.S. government suppliers.
