Job Description
Your Team:
The Platform team at BlueOptima plays a crucial role in providing a scalable technology platform for product development, adhering to our core principles of Self Service and Containerization. We collaborate with product teams to:
- Self Service:
- Empower developers with self-service tools and automation to provision and manage their own infrastructure resources, promoting agility and faster development cycles.
- Containerization:
- Focus on containerizing application stacks to ensure consistency across development, CI/CD, and production environments. This approach enables portability, scalability, and faster deployments.
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:
- Experience 5 years plus.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS.
- 2-4 years of experience with a programming language like Java or Python.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of core AWS services and best practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef (With Ansible is a plus).
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Ability to analyse and interpret logs and metrics.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
