Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining forecasting and analytical tools and dashboards for our operating teams to improve decision making and drive business performance. This position will work closely with all facets of the organization, including the Finance & Accounting, Business Services, Merchandising, Digital Services, Events, and Member Services teams. We are seeking an analyst who is an expert in financial modeling, has a passion for data, and enjoys forecasting, analytics, and solving complex problems.
General Job Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly and annual forecasting, planning, and analysis (FP&A) process, including preparation of the annual budget
- Report monthly on results and variances, and perform sensitivities on forecasts to create actionable insights on risks and opportunities
- Develop forecast models, leverage data, and perform financial analyses to improve decision making across the organization
- Become a subject matter expert in the operations of our business and the key drivers of revenue and cost
- Serve as the go-to financial expert for ad hoc analyses to support our Merchandising, Business Services, Digital Services, Events, and Member Services teams
- Serve as the point person for analytics in key areas such as retail credit, inventory finance, secondary finance, and merchandising. This includes developing strategies for promotional scheduling, rebate activity, and pricing of services
- Participate in monthly business review meetings and support department leaders in the preparation of materials
- Support weekly cash and liquidity forecasting
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly departmental and corporate reporting, including sell-in volume, revenue, operating costs, and overhead
- Query and extract data from a variety of sources, such as from a relational database or ERP system, for use in analysis
- Perform quality assurance and dashboard maintenance to ensure integrity of both data and reporting
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related areas
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional work experience required
- Strong analytical abilities; organized with attention to detail
- Prior experience in financial statement analysis
- Previous success in driving operational improvement through the use of data and analytics
- Experience working with large datasets and visualization tools; ability to tell a story using data
- Proven ability to lead complex project initiatives and achieve results in a team-oriented, matrixed environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with all functions and levels of the organization including Executive Management
- Motivated self-starter; comfortable working in an unstructured environment
- Ability to successfully prioritize and complete multiple tasks and collaborate with diverse teams
- Expert in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams)
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check screening upon offer of employment.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools, including Microsoft PowerBI
- Prior experience building interactive dashboards with PowerBI
- Familiarity with database interface tools, SQL programming and concepts
- Prior experience working with NetSuite ERP system
Work Environment:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
