WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a QA Analyst at Treez you’ll bring your cannabis experience to this role relating to software quality testing. The cannabis industry has many requirements, including specific details relative to each State selling products in multiple markets. The right person for this role will bring their experience and to show up every day with enthusiasm to help our customer experience be the best it can be, while maintaining compliance.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Working as part of a scrum team delivering value in increments.
- Echo the voice of the customer in every conversation.
- Achieve success with each ticket tested, every bug reported and every release in the hands of customer
- Being the voice of Quality within the Engineering organization and scrum team.
- Using your detail-oriented approach for all facets of testing - really finding those edge cases and making sure to prevent releasing regressions.
- Taking on the task of running a regression suite of test cases prior to every major & minor release.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience in the cannabis industry required. No exceptions.
- Prove work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Proven work experience in executing manual tests
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium. Cucumber, testing, and TestRail is a plus
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services including API Gateway, Lamba & Quicksight a plus.
- Cloud Formation, RDS, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3, EKS, MSK, and EC2 to implement product features that scale, a plus
The anticipated compensation for this role is a salary of $65,000. This is dependent upon a number of factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, work experience, geographic location, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
