ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative who will play an integral role in achieving the commercial organization’s objectives and goals. In this role, you will influence demand and grow revenue through lead and order generation in our consumables markets (CA, CO, MA, and NY). You will be responsible for executing sales strategies to increase market penetration and generate interest in our growing product portfolio. This is a full-time hourly position; 6 month contract-to-hire.
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will...
- Generate leads and orders for key opportunity accounts.
- Collaborate with outside sales teams to build new relationships with opportunity accounts and gain insights into market dynamics and demand.
- Increase reorder rates in lower-tier accounts.
- Execute tasks according to the commercial priorities calendar.
- Assess PAX's online dispensary menu presence, identifying opportunities to improve product placement, descriptions, and imagery.
- Manage all tactical requirements for onboarding new accounts, including:
- Facilitate dispensary support and order fulfillment using available resources and tools.
- Collaborate with relevant account and PAX resources to handle account creation in record systems.
- Ensure compliance documentation is current for all new and existing target retailers.
- Provide onboarding and training for customers as needed.
- Ensure all new accounts are uploaded to SFDC/SOR.
- Oversee digital launches, providing and supporting accounts with necessary resources and information to launch PAX on their digital menus.
- Monitor and track activities, reporting performance to Regional Market Directors and the VP of Commercial.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Excellent communication (verbal, written) and presentation skills
- Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfort with, and ability to operate at an aggressive, accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment
- Skilled in relationship building
- Excellent time-management skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in retail, telemarketing, customer service, or lead generation role
- Bachelors degree is a plus
- State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
- CPG experience preferred; familiarity with cannabis or another highly regulated, fragmented industry a plus
- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
- Ability to work independently, run multiple concurrent projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
COMPENSATION
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $30-35/hour + $10k annual on-target variable compensation. This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
