JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Inventory Manager manages the inventory assets in all High Profile retail locations. This person oversees the Retail Inventory Specialist role and provides direction and guidance on cycle counts and full physical inventories, adjustments and reconciliations, expiring and aging inventory, and correct intake processes and procedures. The Retail Inventory Manager provides monthly reporting on Adjustment Dollars and Discrepancies and works with Area Managers and Store Managers to mitigate loss.
The Inventory Manager partners with Area Managers, Store Managers, and Inventory Leads to ensure operational efficiencies and compliance with state and local laws.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Partners with the Director of Retail Operations and Retail Field Specialist on inventory process improvements and efficiencies.
- Works with Retail Inventory Specialist and Buying and Planning partners to create and maintain inventory reporting (WIP, Quarantine, etc.) across the retail enterprise and provide support to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintains active knowledge of incoming inventory and on hand inventory levels; develops weekly plans with Area Managers, Store Managers, and Dispensary Teams to ensure timely processing of deliveries.
- Ensures all locations are properly trained on the proper intake process for all incoming deliveries, ensuring product matches manifest descriptions, resolving manifest variances with Buyers, addressing any labeling or METRC/BIOTRACK tagging issues with Retail Compliance Manager.
- Ensures reconciliation between physical counts, Dutchie backend counts, and METRC/BIOTRACK counts.
- Partners with Buying and Planning partners, Retail Field Specialist, and Customer Experience Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels, proper merchandising, and other operational aspects to optimize store performance.
- Communicates with state regulatory agencies (CRA, CCC, etc.) where appropriate (i.e., creation of a digital manifest for a dispensary team.
- Collaborates with Accounting Manager and Retail Purchasing Specialist on timely and effective invoice uploads via our inventory tracking software, Knack.
- Oversees and manages all aspects of retail inventory, ensuring efficient and sound operations from intake through customer purchase at the POS.
- Ensures all store and state specific logs such as the Destruction (Waste), Environmental, etc. are updated daily.
- Provides oversight regarding cycle counts and assists full physical inventories as needed.
- Ensures applicable employees are properly trained on Retail Operations Work Instructions for intake, the packaging and labeling of product, and ERP and Seed to Sale Software systems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years retail management experience preferred, or equivalent.
- Experience managing remote team of inventory specialists and providing communication to store leadership.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory tracking systems, required; METRC experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and sales.
- Excellent organization skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to drive process improvements across all areas managed.
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
- Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity.
- Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables.

- Knowledge of state and local regulations preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and is 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
