Responsibilities


· Key member of a cross-functional, high performance operational team at GreenLight’s state-of- the-art Pilot Plant and Commercial Facility with the goal to establish a proven technology platform for the commercial production of RNA· Accountability for GreenLight’s existing and new equipment systems as the primary equipment engineering expert within the company· Accountable for equipment design scope for all GreenLight Capital Projects· Technical leadership for global Capital Projects· Responsible for Quality Assurance of fabrication and installation of GreenLight equipment systems· Front End Loading engineering and basis of design development· Responsibility for infrastructure and utilities at GreenLight facilities· Accountable for equipment reliability and operational uptime· Champion of process and personnel safety· Leader of Operational Excellence best practices, processes, philosophy, and cultureQualifications· >10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing at chemical, food, or life sciences facilities· B.S.

degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or commensurate experience in related field. Advanced degrees are welcome but not a requirement.· Exceptional skill sets involving the design and integration of hygienic equipment and piping systems· Experience with participation in CapEx project ($1- >$100MM) execution from conceptual design through commissioning and startup· Expertise in the operation and maintenance of hygienic equipment and piping mechanical systems· Experience working with equipment vendors in the design and fabrication of equipment for hygienic processes· Experience in the application of RAGAGEP standards in the design of facilities and process systems· Experience in performing quality assurance (QA) and auditing of equipment fabrication lifecycle· Familiarity working within Quality Management Systems and adherence to FDA/FSMA and EPA CFR standards related to the production, handling, packaging, and transportation of food, feed and/or pesticide products· Familiar with aerobic fermentation, biotech downstream processing, biochemicalreactions, technical and quality audits· Safety champion – interdependent safety values aligned with GreenLight’s safety culture

Job Information


Salary Range: $110,000-150,000 depending on experience level of qualified candidates.
