The
Media Buying Strategist
is responsible for developing and executing media buying strategies that maximize campaign performance and drive business growth across various digital channels, including social media, display, search, and video. Collaborating closely with business leads, buying leads, and tech leads, the Media Buying Strategist will guide the implementation of key initiatives that provide high impact and long-term growth for core business lines within the Publishing Org. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media buying and be responsible for delivering high-quality results for key initiatives, ensuring efficient integration into existing processes.
The Role You Will Have:
- Develop, implement, and optimize media buying strategies across multiple digital channels (including social media, display, search, native ad networks) to support internal business goals.
- Lead the development of full funnel landing page strategies and creative engagement initiatives to enhance media plans and maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Plan and manage campaigns based on seasonality and data-driven strategies, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify target demographics and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced tools and platforms for media buying, tracking, and reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital media buying.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in media buying and planning, preferably in a performance marketing environment.
- Proficiency in media buying platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, TikTok and Taboola.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with budget management and ROI optimization.
- Knowledge of tracking and analytics tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Certification in digital marketing or related fields is a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
