As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be the face of Carbon Robotics as we deliver a high-quality, low friction, superior customer experience. As the first point of contact, you’ll quickly triage the issue and begin to assist the customer - relying on our knowledge base, your troubleshooting skills, and as needed, your teammates.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound customer communications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with proprietary laser weeding equipment and systems
- Gather appropriate diagnostic information
- Meet established response expectations and ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Support Carbon Robotics Field Support Engineers and Sales personnel in the field
- Contribute to internal and external documentation such as knowledge articles, process documentation, runbooks, and FAQs
- Occasional travel may be required
- Participation in on-call rotation
Ideal Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years in remote/telephone customer-facing service and support
- Creating and managing customer communication and tickets
- Ability to follow complex instructions both written and oral
- Solid relationship management, customer service and communication skills
- Hands-on technical troubleshooting in Linux environment

Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices.
Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:$83,000—$100,000 USD
