OVERVIEW:
To provide management and facilitate primary point of contact communications for all construction site related activities, with emphasis on site safety program, quality assurance and project schedule. Superintendent will provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating crews, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
- Provide oversight and management of field personnel on all assigned construction projects.
- Ensure and implement safety standards as well as all company policies.
- Coordinate construction schedules.
- Acts as liaison between Company, Field Personnel and Customers.
- Acts as the company contact in the field with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot/solve issues and coordinate with other trades/clients with minimal supervision.
- Work with Construction Manager to determines materials, equipment and tools to be used for assigned projects
- Maintains job records for use in managing or control.
- Comply with carrier specifications on all site construction by detailed coordination, review and approval of all documentation including but not limited to construction reports, grounding reports and as-builts.
- Ensure permitting, inspections and code compliance are completed as needed for each assigned project.
- Reviews and compiles reports; such as inspection reports, tool, equipment and supply usage and safety reports.
- Required to attend daily and/or weekly meetings and manage project schedules. Schedule crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project completion
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
- Ensure the subcontractor is fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work
- Ensures crew members are in compliance with company and customer safety requirements. Inspects all tools and rigging gear to ensure they are safe to use.
- Reports any workers’ comp injuries or other incidents.
- Maintain and report daily activities to the project manager
- Identify conflicts in the construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution
- Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality. Ensure crews and subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified
- Ensure the job site is always kept in a safe, clean, and organized manner
- Perform job and progress and completion punch list identification and completion
- Other closely related work may include physical tasks and menial tasks such as; timesheet and other recordkeeping, completing Job Safety Analysis, adjusting equipment and tools, complying data to create documents or reports and presentations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing all Construction/Tower work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Manages 2-6 subordinate crew members in the Construction/Tower Field Crews. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years or more of related tower and construction experience and/or training.
- Good communication skills, reading and writing skills (English)
- Excellent computer skills. Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook) and project management software
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to accommodate out of town travel, if required.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.
- ComTrain, OSHA30, RF Awareness Training, First AID/CPR trained.
- Must have experience with Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping and antenna equipment.
- Must have experience stacking self-support towers, installing waveguide, antennas and microwave dishes.
- RF Awareness, replacement and maintenance i.e. coax, jumpers, TMA’s, connectors and weatherproofing
- Highly organized and be able to effectively report verbally and written reports back to the Tower Construction Manager.
- Experience in managing employees – hiring, terminating, completing performance reviews, allocating work, setting schedules, training, etc.
