About this role: 


Hi, I’m Natalie and I’m the Head of Compliance here at Found. Thanks for your interest in Found! Our team is responsible for regulatory compliance, including Compliance Management System (CMS), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) compliance. We provide day-to-day advice to business units in order to promote responsible innovation and stay compliant with laws, rules, and regulations. This position will be responsible for assisting with Unfair Deceptive Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) reviews, including, BBB responses, social media, website, affiliate, and marketing.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for our UDAAP policy and procedures, monthly testing and monitoring of UDAAP regulation. Moreover, this position will be responsible for maintaining the compliance marketing repository, and assisting during external audits. The individual in this position will be expected to build collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization, both within the compliance department and various business units. I personally review every application, so if you have any questions please include them in your application.Some recent team accomplishments include: 


  • Conducted the Compliance risk assessment

  • Conducted recertification of policy and procedures

Day to day, you will:



  • Track incoming marketing requests to completion. 

  • Review and approve marketing materials to ensure compliance with UDAAP regulation.

  • Test website and affiliate pages to ensure compliance with UDAAP regulation.

  • Track incoming account level Requests for Information received by regulators, and law enforcement.

  • Conduct monthly UDAAP training for new hires.

  • Communicate with auditors, regulators, and law enforcement officers. 

  • Conduct ongoing UDAAP testing and monitoring, and escalate results and issues as necessary.

  • Prepare monthly UDAAP reporting.

  • Assist with quarterly external Compliance audits.

  • Perform special projects related to compliance as needed.

To thrive in this role, you have:



  • 4-7 years of experience with Compliance Management System requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience with UDAAP requirements 

  • Exceptional eye for detail

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative working environment

You may also have:



  • Previous startup experience or demonstrated technical initiative on previous projects.

  • The ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners. 

  • Experience or interest in financial services, accounting, self-employment. 

Compensation at Found 


The anticipated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $120,000. The salary range listed represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
