Reporting to the SVP of Growth, this role will own content strategy, creation, distribution, organic social media, and community engagement. By working closely with the overall marketing and growth teams, developer experience teams, and leadership, this is an excellent chance to contribute directly to Memfault’s exciting growth trajectory. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning and Editorial Excellence:
- Craft and execute a detailed content marketing strategy, incorporating an editorial perspective tailored for diverse audiences and channels.
- Develop content themes and pillars aligned with Memfault's brand, campaign, and business objectives while appealing to various audience segments.
- Lead thought leadership programs, fostering an environment conducive to curating meaningful perspectives and nurturing thought leaders within the organization.
- Tailor content for various channels, ensuring it resonates with audience preferences and platform dynamics.
- Own overall content, copywriting, brand voice & tone, and editorial excellence for Memfault Growth teams.
- Data-Driven Iteration and Improvement:
- Use analytics tools to track content performance metrics, gathering insights to refine and enhance the content strategy continually.
- Improve content effectiveness based on data-driven decisions and audience engagement metrics.
- Research and apply SEO best-practices and insights to increase traffic and improve organic visibility across content initiatives.
- Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Craft content tailored for organic social media platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Instagram, YouTube, and others) to maximize engagement and brand visibility.
- Implement strategies to optimize organic reach, fostering meaningful interactions and community building.
- Manage scheduling and publication across various platforms to maintain a steady flow of captivating social media posts.
- Drive engagement initiatives, fostering an environment that encourages audience interaction and conversation.
- Build and nurture communities across different social media and conversational platforms, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep content marketing + copywriting experience for a B2B SaaS brand
- Collection of content examples and results (demand generation, SEO rankings, social recognition, etc.) that showcase your best work
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills
- Ability to simplify complex and highly technical ideas into impactful, audience-specific articles, posts, videos, and stories
- Worked directly with design and development teams to turn ideas into reality
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- Experience with Hubspot, Wordpress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Suite
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Highly preferred: Experience targeting a developer audience with multiple personas from executives to practitioners
$115,000 - $145,000 a yearThe compensation range for this position is based on a full-time schedule.
