We are actively seeking a Field Application Engineer Software based in Taipei, Taiwan.Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales to identify/anticipate customer opportunities
- Prepare white papers, application notes and other technical documents and presentations for Kandou’s technology
- Crisply summarize and communicate customer technical issues into Kandou Engineering and drive resolution
- Develop expert level of using Kandou’s products and tools, including control interface and configuration settings for customer designs
- Demonstrating evaluation platforms at customers, trade shows or conferences
- Work in customer labs with customer engineers
- Provide input to Kandou’s technology roadmaps based on customer feedback and industry trends
- Work directly with Kandou’s software and tools teams on features and content required for customer evaluation, debug and end system deployment
- Comfortable working independently fulfilling on site debug of customer platforms on their premises
- Collaborating with engineers in worldwide locations within the FAE, AE and engineering functions and at customers
Requirements – Experience
- Experience working directly with customers and ODMs on high-speed communications systems
- Solid understanding of high-speed networking applications and designs in consumer and hyperscale environments
- Supporting ODMs and OEMs firmware and software driver integration of communications devices or blocks
- Expertise in scripting (python or equivalent)
- Familiar with hardware debug tools and using JTAG
- Familiar using logic and protocol analyzers
- Competent working in embedded environments with deep knowledge of operating systems and integration/configuration of device drivers
- Knowledge of PCIe BMC software, Intel C-scripts, AMDXIO and/or USB power delivery firmware is a bonus
- Supporting customer projects at all stages of the product life cycle with a focus on pre-sales, EVT/DVT/PVT progressing the design to mass production
- Gained experience supporting some of the following protocols/interfaces: Ethernet, PCIe, USB, CX
