About the role
At Eight Sleep, our people are our most important asset. In order to continue growing our world-class team, we’re looking for a Swiss army knife operator who can help us rethink the future of People Operations. The BizOps - People & Talent Manager should think of hiring and people management like a product, optimizing for a top-notch “customer” experience that sources, attracts, and develops the best talent across the globe.
How you’ll contribute
Work closely with the CEO on all people and talent-related matters
Design the end-to-end hiring, onboarding, and integration process leveraging first principles thinking
Research opportunities to integrate the latest AI and technology into our hiring and performance management process
Lead people analytics/dashboarding for people and talent (recruiting metrics, performance metrics, etc.)
Work closely with the CFO to build out leveling and compensation bands
Design a performance review process that optimizes for maximum efficiency and impact
Build out Eight Sleep’s employer brand strategy, including launching an international recruiting arm
Explore and implement tools, systems, and processes to help Eight Sleep operate more efficiently internally
What you need to succeed
1-3 years of experience in startup business operations or consulting
Experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's
Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
Data mindset
Hard-working and high-intensity
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize complex information and data to inform decision making
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
No HR or people and talent experience required (really! We are looking for more of a generalist here)
