What We Need


We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to help us launch and scale a new team, inside the Yieldmo sales org. The right candidate for this role loves to build! A hunter mentality, to build-up a new territory and book of business. A consistent, in-market presence to build meaningful relationships with their clients and prospects. A methodical approach with the thick skin and high energy to help us build and refine our processes as we bring new, innovative products to market. This role will be focused on driving new revenue through the AE’s network of independent agency and brand direct connections, along with new prospecting/outreach.

The ideal candidate combines a mix of digital/programmatic industry knowledge, a strong network of established relationships and thrives in a start-up environment. 

What You Can Expect In This Role


  • You’ll be building a new territory/book of business, selling both managed service and programmatic offerings  
  • Your primary focus will be on building and managing a pipeline to achieve new business revenue goals (and the associated activity)
  • Plenty of room to ‘hunt’ in your territory. Including agency/client prospects from your established network, a targeted list of agency and advertiser accounts and new prospecting/outreach in your assigned geo-territory
  • Working closely with Account Management, Ad Operations, and Sales Planning, to ensure client campaign success
  • To become an expert on your book of business and assigned geo-territory
  • Consistent, in-market presence with clients and prospects (*up to 25 – 50% travel expected)
  • Representing Yieldmo at industry events and conferences

Requirements


  • High energy, organized, and adaptable. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment
  • At least 3+ years of experience in programmatic / digital advertising
  • At least one year of sales or new business development experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Established network of relationships with independent agencies in your region
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and rapport within and across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hiring Process


Select candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We will discuss the Hiring Process details at that time. The hiring process typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • A 45 minute video interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Candidates will be invited to join a remote on-site interview round, consisting of video interviews with various team members and leadership.
  • Successful candidates will subsequently be made an offer.

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $100,000-$125,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.

For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
