What we're looking for:


We are looking for a SDE-2 to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team.

Responsibilities:


  • Participate in requirements gathering discussions with the product team.
  • Develop the backend of the Zinier ecosystem with high quality.
  • Work with stakeholders to investigate and resolve product issues.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to handle technical debt.
  • Contribute to the training track for other team members across the company.
  • Document technical aspects of the Zinier platform and keep the documentation updated.
  • Mentor team members to follow engineering principles.
  • Review code from team members to ensure high quality.
  • Analyze, propose and fix legacy codebase to improve the quality and reliability.
  • Research and propose new tools/methods to improve productivity.

Role Requirements:


  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in OOPS concepts.
  • Strong understanding of Java SpringBoot and REST API development.
  • Experience in Test Driven Development on Springboot.
  • Strong experience in developing APIs using Redis and relational databases, MySQL preferably.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud platform and experience in using services such as S3 and Lambda.
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools and bug-tracking systems, such as JIRA and GIT.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Self-driven to initiate change - technology and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of DocumentDB or any other document database will be a plus.
