As an Dispute Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team and play a significant role in risk and compliance management, ensuring compliance with various legal requirements as well as actively monitor for and report suspicious activities to prevent audits.
You will
- Manage all complex dispute types.
- Review money movement patterns, transaction data, available online data, and leveraging knowledge of industry fraud trends to determine if claim is valid or fraudulent.
- Review evidence presented and leveraging the AML framework dispute resolution management rules to determine the validity of each claim and its potential for recovery.
- Monitor disputed transactions for possible fraudulent activity.
- Work dispute cases daily and respond within network timeframes as assigned by the banking partner and or the providers.
- Assist merchants/ sub-merchants with remediating or dropping disputes
- Assessing claimant eligibility for access to affected funds during the dispute recovery process in accordance with the PH consumer laws.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate responses to disputes.
- Collaborate with the sales & customer success teams to patron the sales retrieval process
- Respond to requests and maintain open communication between team, other departments, and sub-merchants.
- Stay current with industry information, system changes, network rules, and compliance issues
- Research additional documentation as needed to provide with representment case
- Validate appropriate data from internal and third party systems and ensure appropriate course of action is being pursued.
- Initiate the preparation of dispute reports
- Proactively monitor dispute patterns and collaborate with Compliance & Fraud & Risk teams
- Other risk-related projects/duties as assigned by the Risk Operations team
- Suggest improvements and initiate developments/ enhancements to dispute process and operations
You may be a fit if:
- You possess a Bachelor's Degree
- You have at least 3 years prior work experience in dispute monitoring, analysis, and management from banks and other financial institutions
- You are good on data analysis
- You demonstrate the ability to manage projects
- You have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
