The Opportunity...


We are seeking an experienced Manager, Sales and Marketing to own and manage our end-to-end B2B marketing and sales processes. This role will have strategic oversight for lead generation and sales process optimization, support onboarding and transitioning of new agents, and manage marketing campaigns for existing agents. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust background in B2B marketing and a deep understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. This role is crucial for enhancing our sales strategies, increasing our market reach, and ultimately driving our company's growth.

How You'll Contribute...


  • 1. Establish a framework for success for retail agent acquisition
  • Fix/update Salesforce (we are both starting from scratch)
  • Understand Sales Cycle
  • Ensure incentives (including comp plans) are aligned with segment goals
  • 2. Develop sales promotions as needed
  • Understand/teach product positioning
  • Stabilize marketing and ensure appropriate reporting
  • Develop best practices around onboarding agents in areas of greatest need
  • Define the needed reporting and KPIs to drive the right team behavior and results.
  • Manage all reporting needs to the carrier partners
  • Develop a pricing program for all product offerings to drive growth
  • Understand the competitive landscape
  • 2. Anticipating Agent Carrier adoption of AIC
  • Develop onboarding strategy for agents
  • Work closely with corporate carriers on marketing materials
  • Work with tech prod to ensure the program works as anticipated
  • 3. Working independently and/or in conjunction with corporate marketing on “our message”
  • Unify our messaging and product pitch
  • Understand/support the marketing needs of the broader AM team
  • Develop approach to conferences and trade shows
  • Utilize all B2B marketing and promotion methods to drive awareness of our retail agent offering as well as re-activation efforts.
  • 4. Marketing efforts should drive the acquisition of small retail captive agents and independent agents as well as large regional and national agencies.

What We're Looking For...


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
  • Extensive experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Proven track record of developing successful lead generation and sales optimization strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales metrics and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others, driving performance and professional growth.
