About the Job
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable Staff Accountant (Audit) who is looking to gain valuable experience with a high-volume fast-paced global company. This position will be responsible for preparing documents, schedules, and a variety of information requested by external auditors. As the audit liaison for the accounting department, you will manage the audit request list, respond to requests in a timely manner, have frequent communication with auditors, and communicate findings to the Controller & Director of Finance. The audit liaison will coordinate with various members within the accounting department as well as other department managers to fulfill requests.
This position has growth potential and opportunities to explore other areas in accounting of interest. We aim to align the strengths & interests of our team members with the current needs of our department to achieve company goals. We need a team player who is willing to “do what it takes,” is flexible, and can manage concurrent tasks/projects. This is a full-time permanent position.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of internal and external audit processes
Team player with a positive attitude, who is reliable and trustworthy
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Able to multitask and work well in a deadline-driven environment
Experience with international companies will be an added advantage
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
BA is a plus - must be a high school graduate or equivalent
2-4 years experience in accounting or related field
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook skills
Understand intercompany transactions
Experienced with MAS/Sage 100 Software

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $38-$45 per hour. This position will also include a 401k with 50% matching and profit sharing that is dependent on a variety of factors.
