BlackStone eIT, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented and dedicated Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's infrastructure, systems, and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks, conduct security assessments, and develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective security solutions and controls to protect company systems and data
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and address potential risks
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect and respond to threats
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide incident response and recovery support
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
- Provide security awareness training and education to employees
- Participate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Manage security-related tools and technologies
- Document security incidents, investigations, and solutions for future reference
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and technologies
- Experience in security architecture, design, and implementation
- Familiarity with network security technologies and tools
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Experience with security incident response and forensic investigations
- Understanding of cloud security and containerization technologies
- Ability to perform security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are preferred
