The Finance mission is to put Malt in a good position to reach its profitability ambition while maintaining a high growth. To do so, we (1) support the business with value-added analysis to make the best possible decisions, (2) facilitate and consolidate the forecasting and budgeting processes and (3) set up and maintain internal control processes, including reporting of our financials for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities ✨
- Strong participation in month-end closing process (closing at WD5)- Implement, realize and improve control tools for P&L statements, balance sheet items and analytics- Work with FP&A to identify and explain fluctuations in monthly financial informationPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations- Integrate the invoices & expense reports into Netsuite - Prepare and manage the cut-off bookings (accruals and prepaid expenses)Monitor and improve the AP process and the analytic allocation- Manage the payments to the vendors and employees (expense reports)Support the annual year-end audit and any regulatory or tax audits- Manage the fixed assets (acquisition, depreciation, write-off) in relation to the IT department- Be in charge of payroll analysis (booking of payroll entries, provision for paid holidays, provision for bonuses)- Be the key contact for the Engineering & Product teams on the accounting topics- Work with the Tax and Cash manager for all tax-related matters in connection with accounting
About you 🧑🚀
- At least 4 years of Accounting experience in an equivalent role- Great rigor and organization skills- You have a real team spirit and a positive attitude- You are results-oriented and curious to test and improve new processes and organizations- You are comfortable with Excel. Netsuite and/or Spendesk is a plus- Fluent
