Airline Component Parts (ACP) is an FAA-certified 145 Repair Station in operation since 1994. We specialize in the development of customized repair solutions for high-value aerospace parts. Our business is currently growing fast, and we are looking for a repair technician to support repairs of commercial and military aircraft components. ACP specializes in the development of DER repairs with a focus on customized repair solutions for high-value expendable components.
Job Description
As a repair technician, you will be doing hands-on repair, assembly, soldering or re-manufacture of mechanical and electro-mechanical components utilizing company provided approved data. The technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electromechanical, and machined assemblies sent in for repair evaluation by our customers. Training, technical documents, and oversight are provided by ACP management. ACP is a great place to get a wide range of aviation maintenance experience and have fun at the same time!

Core Responsibilities
- Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training.
- Maintain a clean, and clutter-free work area.
- Correctly, concisely, and legibly fill out all company forms and reports as required by management (both written and online).
- Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management.
- Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary.
- Assist in basic shop upkeep and maintenance including routine cleaning of the technician’s work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external representatives, including management, customer reps, FAA inspectors, airline inspectors and similar (training provided).
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
- Looking for seasoned technicians with at least 2+ years and/or recent A&P School Graduate is OK. A positive attitude is more important than experience.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings as well as a basic background check.
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Mechanic/Technician: 2+ years of similar or related work experience, mechanically inclined.
- Mechanical and electrical aircraft experience preferable.
- Applicant must have at the least a moderate level of experience and proficiency with general electrical soldering and/or circuit board level soldering.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Valid driver’s license
Education
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associate's degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
- A&P Certificate (or close to obtaining is highly preferred)
Compensation:
- Hourly position commensurate with experience and skill level and/or certifications. ($21 - $27/hour)
