JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for working independently to manage creative and marketing assets through their lifecycle within our internal systems, while also collaborating with other internal stakeholders to ensure that our Digital Asset Management System (Canto) and Content Management System (CMS) are operating efficiently.
This role works closely with IT to optimize these systems in addition to completing any quality assurance testing to ensure that applications meet all agreed-upon standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accuracy and completeness of digital content in both the DAM and CMS. Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for questions and issues related to creative assets in both systems
- Help build and maintain workflows that ensure speed, transparency, and sensible prioritization of concurrent projects
- Lead the development, validation, and maintenance of the DAM taxonomy and metadata requirements for existing and new digital assets
- Partner with IT and Marketplace Operations team to publish content and assets efficiently
- Conduct new user training, field questions from and interface with DAM and CMS stakeholders, create and maintain resource guide and supporting documentation
- Test and support system upgrades and product enhancements while ensuring that quality and data hygiene is maintained and that the applications meet agreed-upon standards
- Advocate for quality and process improvement to ensure solutions do not compromise quality
- Represent the Brand and Creative Department as its Record Administrator and help enforce the company’s document retention policy
- Train, mentor, and support to other Digital Marketing team members as needed
- Oversee updates & enforce compliance with our Digital Rights Management (DRM) settings
- All other duties as assigned
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):1. Accuracy and Completeness of Digital Assets
- KPI: Percentage of digital assets in the DAM and CMS that are correctly tagged with accurate metadata and complete information
- Target: 98% accuracy and completeness rate for all digital assets
Workflow Efficiency
- KPI: Average turnaround time for processing and publishing digital assets through the DAM and CMS
- Target: Reduction in average turnaround time by 20% within the first six months
3. User Training and Support Effectiveness
- KPI: Number of support tickets related to DAM and CMS issues resolved within a specified time frame and user satisfaction ratings from training sessions
- Target: 95% of support tickets resolved within 24 hours and an average user satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5 for training sessions
4. Compliance and Process Improvement
- KPI: Compliance rate with the company’s document retention policy and frequency of process improvement initiatives implemented
- Target: 100% compliance with document retention policy and at least three major process improvement initiatives implemented annually

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Library/Information Science
- Experience in content and digital asset management
- Understanding of taxonomy best practices and procedures, controlled vocabulary, and metadata development
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
- 5 years of previous related experience
