Your role as a Lead QA EngineerDoes the software work the way it is supposed to? This will be the main question driving your work as a Lead QA Engineer. Most of your time will be spent on hands-on testing and developing automated tests together with your team.
You will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, own and drive the QA process, and cooperate with our developers to make sure our overall development process is helping us deliver great value to our customers.You need to be laser-focused on doing whatever is needed to find defects before release. To support that work, creating and maintaining the necessary tools and environments is essential. There is constant focus on improving the way the software is developed and any processes that are not optimal in relation to quality.The QA team will consist of yourself and two other QA engineers, and this team is expected to grow over the next few years. You will work across teams and support and guide the engineering squads by providing structure on what tests, infrastructure and planning is needed.
Quality is second nature to you, and you pride yourself on seeing the quality aspect in every context. As a true QA nerd, you possess strong skills within testing and quality, and you readily share your insights (and QA jokes) with your team.You have the the mindset of knowing that everything can fail paired with a deep desire to figure out all the edge cases that can trigger a failure. You will be a key part of helping the product team to be confident in what is being built, and that it works as designed. Being able to give relevant feedback is important in this role.The role is remote within the Nordics, Netherlands, UK, or Ireland!We are looking for you, if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in a QA engineer role. Experience as a lead is a big plus.
- Have familiarity with test automation software/frameworks and experience in implementing automated testing strategies. We are using LeapWork for test automation. Experience with LeapWork is a big plus.
- Are a process-oriented person with a deep desire to identify defects in software
- Have a proactive mindset and can see the quality aspect in every context
- Are IT technical. The TimeXtender suite is a collection of technically complex products. We do the heavy lifting behind the scenes so that the user can easily do their work. You don't have to know how to code, but familiarity with SQL is a big plus (both to set up test cases and to understand what is going on behind the scenes).

- Have great communication skills that enable you to contribute with constructive input, as well as coach other engineers regarding testing and quality
