The role is key to ensuring a successful project startup while being executed efficiently and effectively. Thisrole requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The Commissioning Coordinator will report to the Commissioning Manager and routinely interface with multiple Functional Leaders from the following groups: Commissioning Team, Project Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Quality.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Commissioning Planning & Execution:-Assist in the development and maintenance of commissioning plans, timelines, and milestones.-Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager and team members to ensure that project goals and objectives are clear and achievable.-Coordinate and facilitate ad hoc tasks such as procurement and delivery of commissioning materials, tracking down spare parts from Group14’s multiple facilities, and delivery and collection of commissioning documentation to and from onsite staff.Team Coordination:-Act as a liaison between project, operations, and maintenance teams ensuring effective communication, coordination, and information sharing.-Facilitate meetings, record minutes, and distribute action items to team members.Resource Management:-Monitor and track project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.-Assist in resource allocation and ensure their availability as required for project activities.Documentation:-Maintain commissioning documentation, Schedules, punch lists, risk registers, and change logs.-Assist with Commissioning software implementation and data entry.-Ensure that project files and documentation are well-organized and up to date.Risk Management:-Identify and document project risks and issues.-Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Quality Assurance:-Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards by conducting regular reviews and inspections.-Track and report on the quality of project work.Reporting:-Assist in generating regular commissioning status reports and update project dashboards for stakeholders.-Provide concise, accurate, and timely updates on commissioning progress and key performance indicators.Stakeholder Communication:-Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.-Address inquiries and provide updates as needed to maintain a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.Continuous Improvement:-Contribute to the identification of process improvements, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.-Implement improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Location of Work:-Onsite full-time during Commissioning Planning and Commissioning Execution.-Approximately 25% intermittent local travel during Commissioning Execution to support Commissioning Activities.-Potential for travel both within and outside of the US as project needs evolve.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:-Associates degree, project management, or a related field.-At least 1 years of proven experience developing project coordination, administration or similar roles.-Previous experience with Project Management Information Systems or Commissioning Management Systems (e.g., Kahua, Procore, PM Web, Facility Grid, etc.)-Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.-Excellent time management and organizational abilities.-Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.-Willingness to travel to project locations both within and outside of the US.OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:-Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.-Project or commissioning startup experience-Results-driven and detail-oriented.-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.-Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.-Commitment to delivering high-quality results.GROUP14 OFFERS COMPELLING BENEFITS:-Medical, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability insurance-Benefits are 100% paid for by the company for employees (80% for dependents)-Paid time off-401(k) with company match-Stock optionsGROUP14 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERWe love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.

All positions come with a company bonus and stock options.
