About the role
As a graduate you will be working as part of the software team which provides an SDK to allow users or machine learning frameworks like PyTorch to develop applications for the IPU. The SDK includes libraries, API’s, compilers, examples, and documentation. As part of the SDK team, you will work on new feature development, performance optimizations, and bug fixes. Learning about the IPU, Graphcore’s systems, development processes and the building blocks of machine learning. To support you, you will be teamed with a buddy to help you learn about our stack and you will have regular 1-to-1s with a manager.
About you
We are looking for technical, passionate, and motivated individuals with a desire to learn, work and develop in a technically challenging, fast paced environment.
Essential:
- On track to obtain a 2:1 or equivalent in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Machine Learning
- Confident programming (Python, C, C++), shown through previous work experiences, internships, or personal projects
- Highly motivated and a self-starter, validated through extra-curricular activities or hobbies beyond studies
- Passionate with a keen interest to learn about the exciting new field of AI
- Strong team-working and excellent interpersonal skills
We are not looking for an instant expert but graduates with the hunger to learn, develop and contribute to Graphcore's future.
