Recognized by the Department of Energy for its novel, drop-in ready nanomaterials and reliable industrial-scale process, Group14 serves the global transition to an all-electric future.The Controls Engineer will be working within the Controls Engineering Department to guide the installation, commissioning, and operation of the world’s largest production facility of next generation lithium silicon anode materials.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:-Guide the design, installation, and commissioning of the control systems for BAM-2, our new state of the art facility in Moses Lake, WA.-Interface with operations, support reliability efforts, provide controls related technical support, training, and guidance.-Debug and troubleshoot PLC and DCS logic (Siemens S7-1500/Emerson DeltaV).-Assist with configuration of the site Data Historian (AVEVA PI) and OT Network.-Create and maintain procedures and documentation for control systems and networks.-Provide ongoing support during production for technical issues related to the control systems and equipment.-Contribute to manufacturing best practices and a facility wide safety philosophy.-Other related duties/functions as assigned.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Computer Science degree) preferred, or Associate degree/Trade Certification and equivalent experience may be substituted.-4+ years of directly related experience in control systems engineering, industrial engineering, process controls, or automated manufacturing is required.-Experience with DCS programming (Emerson DeltaV or similar), experience with PLC programming (Siemens or similar), experience with OT networking and ancillary systems (Historians/MES).-Exceptional verbal and written ability with the aptitude to communicate professionally with production personnel, management, contractors, and project leadership.-Good engineering and good documentation practice.

All positions come with a company bonus and stock options.
