Recognized by the Department of Energy for its novel, drop-in ready nanomaterials and reliable industrial-scale process, Group14 serves the global transition to an all-electric future.The Research and Development Project Engineer role is responsible for delivering projects to the Group14 Research and Development Facilities and Laboratory. The R&D Project Engineer will apply recognized design standards and principles to deliver installations that are fit for purpose and meet the intent set forth by the Research and Development Group.
Projects will need to be future-proof and lean to keep pace with the needs of rapid innovation.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:-Lead engineering projects at the facility, including identifying project requirements with the internal customer and developing designs to meet the requirements.-Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets, and regularly communicate with stakeholders on the status.-Employ safety fundamentals, recognized design standards, and regulatory requirements to designs and installations.-Apply recognized practices for phasing of projects to ensure delivery that meets budget and time expectations.-Follow the company’s Management of Change process and project execution policies, including project close-out with proper documentation updates.-Work with the R&D team to develop solutions to problems and improving production throughput, cost, product quality and process safety.-Work with the R&D team to identify potential infrastructure needs to help develop budget and project capital plans.-Provide support for both project development and construction execution.

All positions come with a company bonus and stock options.
