The Job


As a Product Marketing Manager for our Residential business line, your priority will be developing and delivering go-to-market strategies and impactful content that enable sales to sell more products and ensure the sales team understands how and when to effectively use that content. This role also supports the strategy and touchpoints for our client and customer experience.You will be responsible for content development and training for the Sales team, from updating programs for minor product changes to implementing entirely new product programs and sales approaches and methodologies.

As we aggressively scale, you will ensure that we have best-in-class collateral, sales decks, pitchbooks, and onboarding training experiences for all new sales directors and leaders.Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Client Success leadership to ensure customer-facing teams represent our value proposition and position in the market most effectively and impactfully.

What You'll Do

  • Market and Customer Insights (30%)
  • Be Omnidian’s expert on our buyers and their behaviors, identifying market patterns, opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Develop and describe customer personas, identify Omnidian’s ideal customer profiles, and use this segmentation and insight to inform product positioning, packaging, and pricing.
  • Achieve a deep understanding of the solar and renewable energy industry and Omnidian’s position in the market.
  • Work with Product Managers to measure and track TAM/SAM.
  • Gather and analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, including competitive analysis, market trends, and voice of customer initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement and Content Development (40%)
  • Develop sales pitches, sales decks, and ad-hoc account-based management content.
  • Work closely with the Product team to represent value propositions, address and overcome prospect pain points, and position Omnidian as the industry leader.
  • Create and maintain best-in-class collateral, sales decks, pitchbooks, and onboarding training experiences for new sales directors and leaders.
  • Provide the residential Sales team with the tools, resources, and training needed to effectively sell Omnidian’s residential products to clients, including product training, sales presentations, brochures, and case studies/metrics to effectively communicate the products’ value proposition.
  • Client and Customer Experience (30%)
  • Identify barriers, objections, and friction points in Omnidian’s onboarding and customer journey, building training and teaching our sales executives to overcome these and create reasonable client expectations.
  • Ensure all market-facing materials align with our brand voice and represent Omnidian’s public-facing brand experience.
  • Develop messaging and touchpoints throughout a residential client’s journey with Omnidian that show the value of our products and services, including enhanced reporting for clients that provides actionable insights that will positively impact our clients’ bottom lines.

  • You have integrity, treat people with respect, and are proactive in taking initiative.
  • You have a passion for the work, attention to detail, and can remain calm under pressure.

Experience You’ll Need


  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing and sales enablement

Experience That's a Plus


  • Experience in the solar, renewables, or energy sector.
  • Experience in environments with both large enterprise clients and direct-to-consumer sales
  • BS in business or equivalent
