THE ROLE


We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our new facility in Cartersville, GA. Thisrolesupervises a team, overseeing daily operationsin a 130,000 sq. ft warehouse.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a keen eye for process optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversee daily operations across various departments to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Consistently monitor productivity based on established KPIs.
  • Work closely with the operations and general manager to ensure that the warehouse operation is cost-effective, including headcount expenses, warehouse equipment, and freight.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing and fulfillment.
  • Participate in cross functional projects to improve overall operations.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of inventory data in the Fishbowl warehouse management system.
  • Ensure perfect execution of logistics processes: receiving, assembly, storage, and shipping/transfers.
  • Troubleshoot warehouse equipment including regular safety audits
  • Lead training and certification efforts for powered equipment according to OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the company and standards established by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
  • Ensure facilities are always maintained in a clean, organized, and secure manner.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving warehousing environment.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising in a high-volume warehouse.
  • Experience with power operated equipment such as lifts and order pickers
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong leadership skills with knowledge of all facets of warehouse operations.
  • Experience with Fishbowl WMS a plus.
  • Bilingual communication skills with the ability to clearly convey written and spoken information to team members in both English and Spanish a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon FBA Shipping systems and policies a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & OTHER ABILITIES REQUIRED


  • Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
  • Basic typing skills.
  • Shipping software systems including UPS and Federal Express.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful, but not required.

COMPENSATION


The base pay for this position is $16.50 to $19.50 per hour. Final salary will be based on a candidate’s experience, location, and market practices. Beyond base salary, you will be eligible for health and welfare benefits (including free options for Team Member only coverage), comprehensive time off programs, including vacation and sick leave, and other perks. We aim to offer a competitive and attractive compensation package that reflects the local market conditions and ensures our employees feel valued and supported.
