About the role
As Two Chairs scales up, we’re looking to add an Analyst to our dynamic Finance team. You’ll work closely with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, VP of Finance, company leadership, and partners across our marketplace operations, talent acquisition, demand generation, and clinical teams to drive meaningful business impact and power our company-wide forecasting & planning.
You'll be responsible for supporting financial forecasting and reporting, developing materials for our board and investors, and improving our financial operations.
Core Areas of Responsibility
Financial Forecasting & Analysis (40%)
- Build driver-based financial models with detailed revenue growth & cost builds across key markets, plan partners, and clinician hiring scenarios
- Work closely with our accounting team on monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis, surfacing insights to executive-level business partners and their teams
Business Partnership (40%)
- Support the bi-annual planning process by working with cross-functional partners to track plan targets, critical assumptions, and produce variance analyses for budget owners
- Partner closely with our operations, demand gen, and clinical talent teams to synthesize disparate inputs into our enterprise growth model
- Evaluate performance on critical financial metrics across internal teams
- Partner with functional leaders and stakeholders across the company to provide financial analysis to support investment and capital allocation decisions
Board, Leadership & Investor Reporting (20%)
- Support quarterly board materials preparation, including deep dives into financial topics
- Deliver regular investor reporting, and analyses for ad-hoc requests
- Prepare monthly financial updates for the Leadership Team
Where you’ll make an impact:
- Partner with the Senior Analyst, Director of FP&A and key cross-functional stakeholders on enterprise supply and demand modeling, including validation analyses of critical inputs and assumptions
- Drive financial and operational reporting to department and company leadership, including budget to actuals analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Support the company forecasting and reporting processes, including functional budgets and headcount planning
- Proactively work with functional stakeholders to improve and optimize enterprise KPI reporting to empower functional executives with insights
- Prepare analyses and materials for the Board of Directors, investors, and other external stakeholders and support company fundraising efforts
- Develop and implement process improvement projects to uplevel the workflow of the Finance department
You’ll be successful if you:
- 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth startup/tech company
- Highest attention to detail and a sense of pride in driving operational excellence
- Strong grasp of financial statements, reporting, modeling, and accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate actionable conclusions to various stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, with a bias for action and rigor in supporting complex projects and key decisions
- Ability to clearly frame complex problems and identify key drivers and implications
- Experience analyzing and generating insights from large data sets; Expert in Excel, Proficiency with financial analysis and data analytics tools (eg. Looker, SQL, etc.) preferred
- Team-first mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and dive in where needed; comfortable wearing many hats and managing competing priorities
