The Service Sales Account Executive will execute the company’s service sales strategy, to meet business goals, gain market insights and build pipeline into emerging service opportunities.
This role will provide consultation and education to new and prospective service customers to identify appropriate Absco products/solutions to meet customers' fire, life safety, and security needs.
What You Will Do
- Partner with sales management on execution of a Service business plan including opportunity development and competitive strategies
- Support sales management to deliver meaningful impact in the fire, life safety, and security space, to include education and proposal production.
- Develop and foster a network, track communicate market trends, and lead effective counter strategies
- Create and lead execution of sales for both existing Service customers and new business.
- Forecast Service sales and provide reporting on sales plans.
- Develop, nurture, and grow existing and prospective business relationships.
- Gain deep understanding of customer fire, life safety, and security master planning needs, and research appropriate product solutions.
- Collaborate across Design, Operations, Technology, and Accounting teams to understand and accurately identify solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Participate in networking events, trade shows, and training seminars as needed to promote business relationships.
What You Will Bring
- Three or more years’ experience in business development or sales (fire, life safety systems preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Solid virtual and in-person presentation skills
- Ability to negotiation and track sales leads to closure
- Construction industry knowledge preferred
- Live within assigned territory
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record, pursuant to Absco Solutions' driver insurability requirements
- Willing and able to travel overnight within/outside of assigned territory

Physical Requirements
- Ability to drive as needed to client project locations
- Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a computer, keying and reading content.
- Will be required to stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and move about freely in an office environment.
- May need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to use common office equipment such as phone, copier, printer, etc.
Compensation Package
Annual Salary: $65K base plus commission and bonuses
