From top to bottom, our team fosters a collaborative environment where we drive results, optimize our efforts, and achieve amazing things – while having a great time and celebrating our successes along the way!The Turret Driver will primarily operate the turret truck/reach power equipment, in addition maybe required to operate additional equipment such as cherry picker, sit-down forklift, stand-up pallet jack. In addition, must be able to operate various other manual equipment in a warehouse environment. The main duties and responsibilities of a Turret Driver is to replenish the warehouse racks, conduct put-aways and pick orders.

Shift Information:


The standard shift if 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday but may include some weekends and mandatory overtime depending on business needs. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Actively support the company’s culture and business mission by always putting people and its customers first.
  • Operate a turret truck/reach, along with other power/manual equipment as required.  Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stock and store product in appropriate areas.
  • Loading, unloading, moving, stocking and staging products and materials using a forklift, or other power equipment. • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Report quality variances.
  • Actively participate in team roles and team development, including continuous improvement initiatives to meet cycle time, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Keep work area clean and safe. Assure trash is removed from work area in a timely manner and is properly disposed. All unused material is properly returned to stock.
  • Maintain the facilities equipment and materials are in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Assist in physical inventories. Work cohesively with others toward department goals, create a positive working environment and offer support and assistance to enhance team performance; working collaboratively with co-workers and management to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Must report all accidents and incidents in a timely manner to management personnel.
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Ability to operate a sit-down power equipment to pick and stow pallets of inventory.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
  • Ability to perform required work with a high degree of independence.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Position requires frequent talking, hearing, and vision with frequent standing, walking and reaching
  • Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools.
  • Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to mount and dismount forklift through the duration of the shift which requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, climbing, and stooping.
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating an order picker within a warehouse setting.
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating various other power equipment in warehouse environment, such as forklift, standing pallet jack, manual pallet jack.

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate for this position starts at $19 USD
