Today residential housing rental options are underwhelming; Picket is disrupting this industry by applying modern technologies to offer a rich inventory of quality residences, unparalleled service, customizations, integrated smarthomes, price certainty, security, and more.Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Staff Accountant will serve as an important member of the Finance Team.
This position will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timely entry of all transactions for the clients. The Staff Accountant will have primary day-to-day responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate financial data and processing accounting transactions with the clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare journal entries, accrual entries in support of monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide support to Senior Accounting to maintain NetSuite general ledger
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables to comply with clients’ requirements
- Process transactions and performing month end accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling accounts
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Provide back-up for fixed assets, accounts payable and accounts receivable accountants
- Provide training to the junior staff on the team
- Other ad- hoc projects that maybe assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Accounting or Finance required, CPA is highly desirable
- Minimum two years of professional accounting experience
- Property management & acquisition accounting experience is a benefit
- Experience with preparing journal entries and preparation of financial statements
- US GAAP knowledge is required
- NetSuite experienced is helpful
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and delivering results
- Exceptional and impeccable written, oral, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work in a Hybrid setup reporting in 1Nito, Cebu.
- Amenable to work either a Night-shift or Mid-shift schedule.
