WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
As a Backend Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing critical backend services for our GuitarTuna product, the world's #1 product for tuning your instruments. You'll have the opportunity to shape the user experience journey from the ground up, influencing how 20+ Million users engage with our platform. At Yousician, you're not just implementing tickets; you're actively involved in the entire development process, from prototyping to feature release.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Backend Developer at Yousician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing new features, ensuring robustness and maintainability.
- Writing well-documented tests and ensuring code coverage using frameworks like Pytest.
- Troubleshooting issues, ensuring smooth functionality of the platform.
- Participating in feature planning based on OKRs, driving the product roadmap forward.
- Designing experiments and supporting monetization efforts and platform infrastructure.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Strong experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Python 3 and frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
- Experience with REST-based API development and MongoDB or SQL databases.
- Cloud experience and familiarity with deploying scalable applications.
- Unit testing experience, preferably using Pytest or similar frameworks.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with monetization strategies, including Apple Store and Google App Store integrations.
- Familiarity with Unity and the ability to read app code.
- Experience with serialization frameworks like Pydantic.
