Recognized by the Department of Energy for its novel, drop-in ready nano materials and reliable industrial-scale process, Group14 serves the global transition to an all-electric future.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:-Manage quality control (QC) team and ongoing QC activities.-Ensure all QC laboratory activities are in compliance with Group14 safety programs.-Manage and improves ongoing collection, analysis, and communication of QC lab data.-Develop sand track key performance indicators (KPIs) for QC systems.-Support manufacturing schedule by managing QC team resources.-Ensure QC laboratory testing follows standard operating procedures.-Schedule round robin testing between QC laboratories.-Ensure nonconformances are created, QC root cause analyses (RCA) performed, and QC corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) are completed.-Working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis (MSA).-Represent the company with customers, vendors, and certifying bodies.-Complete advanced troubleshooting on instrumentation as needed.-Challenge process designs to ensure manufacturability, safety, and effectiveness of products.-Develop and delivers training materials as needed.-Support product and process improvement projects.-Develop quality systems and reviews and challenges existing quality systems.-Collaborate cross functionally on quality issues.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:-10+ years of laboratory experience.-8+ years supervisory/management experience.-Strong attention to detail and organization.-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.-Strong team player who effectively collaborates with internal departments.OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:-Experience with analytical techniques such as BET, pycnometry, TGA, TXRF, and particle size analysis.-Experience with ISO9001, APQP, PPAP and IATF 16949.-Experience in automotive quality systems.-Advanced degree.-Experience with MasterControl and SAP.GROUP14 OFFERS COMPELLING BENEFITS:-Medical, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability insurance-Benefits are 100% paid for by the company for employees (80% for dependents)-Paid time off-401(k) with company match-Stock optionsGROUP14 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERWe love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.

All positions come with a company bonus and stock options.
