Role:
The Technology Maintenance Technician at Card Kingdom Inc. is a hybrid support role, blending an automation maintenance technician and a help desk technician. Responsibilities will include the repair and maintenance of automated equipment and IT systems used throughout the business. The goal of the role is to minimize downtime, reduce human intervention, increase throughput, and maximize efficiency. We are looking for a passionate problem solver, an avid learner with a great attitude who can operate with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
This position is in person and located in Monroe, WA and reports to both the Automation and IT department heads.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Automation and Help Desk support requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
- Support new equipment installation, user training and orientation, validation activities, process improvements and equipment/software set-up.
- Install, configure and maintain user workstations, phones, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices and systems.
- Support development and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
- Partner with the machine operations team to develop and execute machine operator level maintenance training plans.
- Investigate user problems and identify their source; determine possible solutions; test and implement solutions.
- Perform user account administration with Active Directory, Office 365 and other various applications
- Suggest/Initiate/Support process improvement efforts within the automation department including but not limited to system control improvements, 5S, and other lean or Agile methodologies.
- Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and demonstrating safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in technical training
- Strong aptitude and familiarity with electro-mechanical systems, networking and computers.
- Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.
- 1+ years of hands-on Maintenance experience.
- 1+ years of software and hardware experience
- 1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Experience with fabrication and hands on work
- Once proficient, the role is Tuesday – Saturday afternoons and evenings. Will be required to carry cell phone and may occasionally need to work alternate shifts as needed.
- Motivated and self-reliant, the role will be somewhat unsupervised by the department head.

- Monday – Friday during the day while training (Approx. 6-8 weeks) and Tuesday – Saturday Evenings once proficient
Job Type / Salary
- Full Time
- Exempt: Range from $70,000 - $77,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience
