About the Team


We are a fully remote organisation committed to leveraging innovative technologies to drive business success. Our finance team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our financial data is reliable and actionable, supporting our global operations and strategic initiatives.

About the Role


As the Lead Systems Accountant, you will be instrumental in driving the reliability and efficiency of our financial systems. You will manage our suite of finance-related systems, ensuring seamless data flow between our subscriptions management system (Chargebee), tax platforms (Avalara), payment gateways, ERP (NetSuite), and planning system (Anaplan).Your role is crucial in maintaining accurate and timely financial data, which is essential for informed business decision-making.

Things you will do:


  • System Ownership: Manage and own the finance-related systems, including Chargebee, Avalara, NetSuite, Anaplan, and Workado, ensuring effective data integration and accuracy.
  • Audit & Controls: Review daily audit logs across systems and enforce logical access controls.
  • Policy & Procedures: Develop and maintain financial systems policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and finance teams to address business requirements and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to finance team members on financial systems and procedures.
  • Automation Projects: Lead initiatives to automate financial processes, including customer provisioning from Salesforce to Chargebee.

Technical Competencies


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a systems role within the finance function

Additional Competencies (Nice to Have)


  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Chargebee
  • Background in SaaS/subscription-based businesses
  • Knowledge of Spanish tax and regulatory environments
