Job Brief
The Learning Experience Design (LXD) Manager at almentor will lead the design and development of engaging, learner-centered educational content. This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design, a passion for educational innovation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The LXD Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of our diverse audience, ensuring they are both effective and enjoyable.
As the LXD Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain LXD project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Conduct user research and needs analysis to inform the design and development of learning solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of instructional materials, ensuring they meet quality and accessibility standards.
- Facilitate the review and approval process for instructional materials and multimedia content.
- Provide leadership and direction for the LXD team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure the smooth execution of LXD projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of learning solutions through data analysis and user feedback.
- Implement improvements based on evaluation results to enhance the effectiveness of learning solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and instructional design methodologies.
- Represent almentor at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's learning solutions and capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning, or related roles.
- Proven experience in managing and leading LXD projects and teams.
- Experience in the EdTech industry, particularly in MENA, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of instructional design theories, models, and best practices.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to conduct user research and gather stakeholder requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with multimedia production, including video editing, graphic design, and interactive content creation.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in education, such as AI, VR/AR, and gamification.
- Proficiency in user experience design (UXD) and user experience research (UXR).
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both speaking and writing.
