Your Role 


As a Senior People Manager, you join one of our cross-functional departments and you contribute to impactful strategic initiatives. Focusing on employee development and engagement, you partner with the Department Head as well as Leadership, coach and advise them on people experience and employee relations  topics while empowering the employees around you, supported by a wonderful people team.

Your Responsibilities


  • Own the full scope of your department’s HR lifecycle: you will work closely with the Department Head, support them and every employee in your department from onboarding to offboarding, including guiding through our Performance Review Cycles, staying close to Development Talks, answering questions around labor law, or supporting with organizational changes.
  • Coach our people leaders to engage, retain, and develop their teams: You build close relationships with leads and support their development as people leaders. Your goal is to ensure a high decision making quality across the department in line with our organizational values to continuously enrich our culture and business. 
  • Develop and implement scalable processes: You constantly analyze, challenge, and innovate our employee engagement, development, and retention strategies. You dig into engagement data and gain deep insight into our people experiences through qualitative and quantitative feedback from the team.
  • You contribute to company-wide processes and projects: We continuously strive to improve the way we work aligned with our company goals and you will play a crucial part in developing our vision further - this can be in the area of performance management, organizational development, employee relations, etc.

Your Profile


  • Graduated with at least a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as People Manager, HR Generalist, or similar, preferably in a scale-up or another high growth environment.
  • With your empathetic communication style, you empower others to solve complex problems without doing it for them.
  • Hands-on attitude paired with the demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and lead projects with an emphasis on efficient people-first solutions. You are motivated to optimize existing and develop scalable processes with an automation-first approach.
  • Analytical and comfortable around numbers. You know how to consolidate engagement data and other feedback to derive next actions.
  • Nice to have: Your extensive knowledge in German labor law empowers you to skillfully advise and collaborate with leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Fluent in English and German.
