Position Overview
As the company’s first Business Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing an operational framework that will enable us to achieve our objectives. We are looking for an execution-oriented individual that is passionate about helping drive the company towards commercial success.Our ideal candidate is analytical and strategic. They are eager to dive deep into the business to understand and team dynamics, with a strong interest in streamlining operations to meet our key metrics.
Additionally, they are adept at identifying and securing grants or other funding opportunities, ensuring we stay on top of available resources to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting, and identify and secure grants or other funding opportunities to support company growth.
Develop and implement operational processes and systems to orient the company around hitting objectives.
Conduct deep analyses of the company’s structure and team dynamics to identify areas of opportunity that allow for enhancing productivity across all business units.
Work as an extension of the CEO to foster strong communication and coordination across departments to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives and company-wide objectives.
Review and oversee contract agreements, including NDAs and partnership agreements with vendors and restaurants, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies.
Identify, take ownership, and deliver on any strategic projects that you feel will drive meaningful and measurable value for the company.
Qualifications
5-7 years of demonstrated experience in finance, business operations, start-ups, and/or other strategy/operations/execution oriented roles.
Experience in a similar role with a similar scope
Experience with a CPG or other tangible product
Strong understanding of financial forecasting and budgeting.
Proven track record of identifying and securing grants and awards.
Ability to review and understand legal contracts and agreements.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
