This role will be pivotal in transforming accessible company data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. The Business Insights Manager will collaborate closely with our CFO and other business leaders and will be a service provider for the entire organization in relation to the business intelligence tools (Omni) and reporting requests..Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Business Intelligence tool rollout, reporting hierarchy, data definition library and supporting each line of business with their data and dashboard needs.
  • One source of truth reporting for the company:  Develop and execute a comprehensive data definition and reporting  strategy to ensure accurate  analysis, and utilization of company data from Snowflake.
  • Dashboard Creation: Direct the creation and maintenance of dynamic dashboards that visualize key metrics and KPIs for business performance evaluation- both customer facing and internal.
  • Insightful Analysis: Create reports and dashboards that help identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Seek opportunities to use AI to improve our understanding of trends and performance following company guidelines related to AI
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Data Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, with a track record of delivering insights that influence strategic decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, and others)
  • Expert in SQL development for both data modeling and ad hoc querying
  • Experience in data modeling and supporting tooling such as dbt or sqlmesh
  • Experience using cloud-native data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake or Databricks 
  • Experience managing a team of analysts, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop talent.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business drivers and implications on financial performance.
