The Systems Engineering team is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to support our board bring-up and activities in our Toronto lab. You will work alongside experienced engineers to bring up, test and debug Tenstorrent processors, boards and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling systems and setups and managing inventory. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, precision, and organizational skills.This is a 6 month contract roleThis role is hybrid based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers on debugging and characterizing ML processors, boards, and systems.
- Assist in executing test plans for chip and board qualification.
- Assemble and validate test systems.
- Install and maintain Operating Systems and test software
- Manage the ordering and tracking of lab supplies and components.
- Prepare and maintain test procedure documents and reports.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Hardware Skills: Experience in computer system debug and operation of standard lab equipment including oscilloscopes and analyzers.
- Software Skills: Knowledge of software installation procedures and troubleshooting, specifically with Linux.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
