Account Sales Manager

In this position, you will build and nurture relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and leverage your technical experiences and knowledge to address their needs. In the business of selling AI servers and PCI cards, you will play a key role in expanding Tenstorrent's solutions in the Japanese market by partnering with sales agents. Additionally, even without a technical engineering background, your experience with CPUs and AI will be highly valuable.This role ishybrid, based out of Tokyo.

Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer partner companies in the business of selling AI servers and PCI cards, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Understand customers' technical needs and effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing customers with technical insights and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends in computers, AI, and related technologies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Establish scalable sales growth in Japan by collaborating with partner companies on product sales processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring optimal customer experiences by coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of computers and AI
  • Over 5 years of experience in corporate sales or business development (BizDev)
  • Experience in sales administration tasks such as preparing estimates and drafting contracts
  • Fluent communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Experience in business development through partnerships with sales agents
  • Experience in industries dealing with technical products, such as hardware manufacturers
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience and knowledge in fields such as RISC-V and AI
