Job Description
Acumatica is looking for a
Senior Business
System Analyst to join our OEM team in Belgrade, Serbia!
The team is responsible for the development of localized version for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and UK for Acumatica ERP and for extension of certain core functionality. We are working in close cooperation with our OEM partners to create a solution adapted for legal requirements and business needs of the specific region. This requires a high level of expertise in various modules of Acumatica ERP and an ability to work directly with partners to understand their needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of business scenarios and product requirements, communication with foreign partners and customers.
- Design new features and create functional specifications, analyze backward compatibility of product changes, negotiate specifications with all stakeholders.
- Driving the whole process of features implementation.
- Decomposition of changes in the product and setting the task for developers, coordination of implementation details and possible changes to the original requirements.
- Communications to external providers such as OEM partners and their end customers.
- Interaction with automated testing engineers and technical writers within the project under development.
- Comparison of functional specifications with actual changes in the product, acceptance testing and verification of corrected errors.
- Creation of test plans and test scenarios that check the compliance of the product functionality with the requirements set, as well as check the performance of the system in special conditions (data migration, incorrect data, high load, etc.).
- Maintenance: processing support requests, manual verification of the fixed bugs.
Qualifications
- Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks; information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics and Informatics.
- Fluent English. Speaking French is also a valuable asset.
- Experience in system analysis, development of functional specifications for the new system’s functionality, creating workflow diagrams - for 5+ years.
- Experience in the following domains: Financial or accounting applications, experience with 3rd parties’ integrations – for 3+ years
- Experience in writing functional specifications in English.
- Experience working with both - developers and users, manual acceptance testing of the new functionality, writing test scenarios.
- Analytical mindset and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to clearly express thoughts, structure big amounts of information, decompose objects and processes.
- Ability to adhere to the designated priorities and focus on results.
- Desire to learn new things and improve professional skills.
- Ability to build constructive communication with colleagues, share information and experience.
- Would be a huge plus: project management experience.
- Optional: experience in implementation/support of ERP systems.
