Job Description Summary:


Krystal Biotech, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Corporate and Contract Paralegal to join our legal team. The Paralegal will support various legal functions, including corporate governance, contract management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and contract administration.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation, review, and management of corporate documents and contracts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining legal files.
  • Support the legal team with corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records and preparing board meeting materials and Agendas.
  • Conduct legal research and provide summaries of findings to the legal team.
  • Ensure all contracts are accurately recorded and easily accessible in the contract management system.
  • Assist in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Assist with SEC filings.
  • Manage corporate entities in the U.S., Europe, and Japan by assisting with, among other things, formation, registrations to do business, and filings with government entities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of contracts and monitor and track executed contract deadlines, renewals, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Support the legal team in handling regulatory compliance matters and audits.
  • Assist with due diligence and document preparation for corporate transactions.

Requirements and Desired Competencies:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on corporate law and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and contract law.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to pay attention to details.
  • Ability to project professionalism and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), contract management software, and legal research tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
