Together with Jarno, our VP of Engineering, we're expanding our Engineering team to meet the growing demand for our innovative solutions.This means we’re excited to announce an opening for a Senior Project Manager to start our project management function.

What you can expect as our Senior Project Manager at LeadDesk


  • You'll be engaging with customers to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • You'll be managing project specifics by coordinating with support, R&D, product and sales.
  • You'll be developing best practices and assisting other project team members, particularly in Customer Success Management (CSM) roles.
  • You'll be guiding projects to effectively support client needs.
  • You'll be coordinating with product managers to confirm available and upcoming features.
  • You'll be monitoring task completion and reporting any issues.
  • You'll be maintaining clear and consistent communication internally and externally.

What success looks like in this role in the first 6-12 months


  • You've become an independent project manager and a crucial part of the team.
  • You've successfully managed diverse projects, including customer implementations for enterprise customers.
  • You've overseen projects involving product customization, integration, and client training, especially focusing on LeadDesk's enterprise clients
  • You've setup processes to manage the entire project portfolio
  • You've assessed project proposals and overseen ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.

Must-haves


  • Ability to work independently and get the right things done in a startup-like environment.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, for +4 years preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing client relationships and internal teams.
  • Strong steering group experience with ability to efficiently drive steering group
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive approach to addressing challenges, and solution-oriented & collaborative way of working.
  • Readiness to work onsite 2-3 days a week, valuing face-to-face collaboration and creating innovative ideas that drive our business forward.

Nice-to-haves


  • Experience in developing internal processes / functions especially on project related functionalities including ability to create and implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and you can introduce to others processes using these tools
  • Experience in the contact center industry or with a similar SaaS software.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
  • Multilingual capabilities to engage with clients in various regions.
  • Previous experience mentoring and developing junior project managers.

  • Your location: Helsinki metropolitan area (Finland)
  • Work permit in Finland
  • Start date: The sooner, the better.
  • Work model: Hybrid.
  • Working hours: flexible.
  • Employment: Full-time and permanent.
