Senior Controls Engineer
Some of our leading global biopharmaceutical companies are seeking experienced Emerson DeltaV Controls Engineers to join our team. This is a position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the life sciences industry.
Responsibilities
- DeltaV Control System Configuration: Utilize your expertise in Emerson DeltaV to configure and program control systems for process automation in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Syncade MES Interface Development: Develop and implement interfaces between Emerson DeltaV and Syncade MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between the two systems.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, automation engineers, and IT professionals, to integrate DeltaV controls and Syncade MES systems effectively.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Emerson DeltaV and Syncade MES systems, providing technical support and guidance to resolve operational challenges and improve system performance.
- System Optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and optimize the performance of DeltaV controls and Syncade MES interfaces, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, interface specifications, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant records. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training to end-users and colleagues on the operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Emerson DeltaV controls and Syncade MES interfaces, fostering knowledge sharing within the organization.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Emerson DeltaV control systems in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of DeltaV control system configuration, programming, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Syncade MES modules and their functionalities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to DeltaV controls and Syncade MES interfaces efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and automation systems.
